Q&A
A: Pumpkinvine operates under KILLARA SECURITIES PTY LTD in Australia (licence no. 001322159), a long-established Australian securities firm. The platform is built to be a clean, efficient mutual-protection and risk-buffer venue for traders: premiums and fees paid by clients flow into a protection pool, so that a client who is liquidated by losses gets a second chance to trade — shared risk, shared gain. Pumpkinvine is a unicorn in derivatives protection contracts and the largest platform of its kind worldwide, with a premium pool currently above 10 million USDT. It is based in Sydney, Australia, with operations centres in Singapore and Hong Kong.
A: Trading rules are identical to normal trading on mainstream international futures products — the only addition is the protection module. It works as follows:
The steps below are Second Life Standard. Pro and No cover use the same original-account trigger if covered, but a different credit drawdown and profit rule, or no credit at all.
a. On transfer, select Standard, Pro, or No cover. If you select Standard, pay a 10% premium to start a covered period. If you select Pro, pay a 10% premium plus a 10% hold. The premium goes into the protection pool. The hold is not a second collected premium and is refunded if you withdraw before a claim. If you select No cover, no premium and no Credit Facility. The 10% Standard premium, or the 10% Pro premium, goes into the protection pool.
b. You then trade normally. At any point you may withdraw, which ends the protection. If you chose Pro and no claim has triggered, the 10% hold is refunded. If you are losing, once losses reach the 80% claim line the account is automatically granted a Credit Facility worth 50% of the trading capital and can keep trading. The Credit Facility can be traded with but cannot be withdrawn.
c. Once the Credit Facility is in use you may still withdraw at any time, which ends it. If losses continue to the 40% liquidation line of the Credit Facility, the Credit Facility ends and this trading period is over.
d. Profit taken from trading with the Credit Facility is capped at your original principal (twice the Credit Facility); anything above that goes into the platform pool. Profit from the Credit Facility is released to your account in equal parts over 10 trading days. During that period you must stay active — at least one round trip (one open and one close) every 2 trading days. If more than 2 trading days pass with no trade, the release pauses; if no trade occurs for 6 consecutive trading days, the release stops and the remaining balance is forfeited.
A: Second Life Pro is a plan you can select on the same transfer as Standard or No cover. Second Life only lets you win back your original principal with the Credit Facility, while Second Life Pro suits more experienced traders who want to make substantial profit through it. The rules:
After registering, you fund your funds account, transfer from there into a Second Life Pro trading account, and pay a Protection Fee of 10% of the covered amount to start trading. That 10% premium goes into the protection pool, and a further 10% is held. The hold is not a second collected premium.
You then trade normally. At any point you may withdraw, which ends the protection and returns the 10% hold by the original route. If you are losing, once losses reach the 80% claim line the account is automatically granted a Credit Facility worth 50% of the trading capital and can keep trading — the Credit Facility can be traded with but cannot be withdrawn, and the 10% hold is released into the premium pool.
Once the Credit Facility is in use you may still withdraw at any time, which ends it. If losses continue to the 80% liquidation line of the Credit Facility, the Credit Facility ends and this trading period is over.
Profit taken from trading with the Credit Facility is uncapped, but the platform takes 20% of it into the premium pool.
Pro pays a 10% premium plus a 10% hold on the same transfer, and gets a wider liquidation threshold on the Credit Facility and no cap on eligible profit.
In one sentence: Second Life gives you one chance to win your principal back, while Second Life Pro helps you maximise the profit from the Credit Facility and gives you more room to draw down.
A: Click Register on the home page and follow the prompts to link your email. The whole thing takes about a minute.
A: Mainstream international futures — currently the most actively traded contracts worldwide. Digital assets, event prediction and equity TRS products are on the way.
A: Pumpkinvine is a Web3 trading and settlement platform, and every product is denominated in USDT. Wallet-linked trading is coming, but for now deposits and withdrawals are USDT only — we do not accept fiat.
A: Non-USD currencies are settled into USDT at the live exchange rate. USDT is the platform's only settlement currency.
A: No. What it gives you is a second chance to trade once your losses reach a certain level — which is why this protection is called Second Life, or revival protection.
A: Hedging within the platform is not allowed. Our risk controls monitor IP, position direction, position size, entry time and other signals in real time. Where hedging is found, the platform may rule those trades invalid and reserves the right to suspend the account.
A: No. One investor may open only one Pumpkinvine account. Strict KYC is in place to protect the rights of each individual.
A: Yes. Protection covers 1,000 USDT to 100,000 USDT per account.
A: Click Register as partner on the platform to become a partner. You receive 20-50% of trading fees as rebate, and take part in the partner points scheme for platform-token rewards. Please contact our online support or your local representative.
